Bouchard Père & Fils : Clos Vougeot Grand cru 2015

From two parcels, one high and the other low, vinified together. The plump black cherry nose is surprisingly open and perfumed. Rich and weighty on the palate, the tannins are modest though very ripe. They underpin solid, brooding dark fruits and spice.

Subtle and refined, airy, in a Chambolle style, very delicate, more so than what is usually known for Clos-de-Vougeot. We appreciated it for this elegance.
