The NV Extra Brut Rosé Première Cuvée is laced with hints of grapefruit, citrus peel, rose petal and dried flowers. Like all Paillard Champagnes, the Rosé Première Cuvée is very bright, but it also has enough mid-palate pliancy to balance things out. The creamy, resonant finish is quite attractive. Disgorged: March 2023.

Falstaff

Brilliant light salmon pink colour. The nose has intense scents of candied orange, wild strawberry, biscuit and a touch of rose petal. On the palate it is juicy and saline, with a delicate mousse. Well-balanced acidity and delicate notes of grapefruit and cassis contribute to a sense of fullness. Long lasting.

The NV Champagne Première Cuvée Extra Brut Rosé has a salmon/pink hue and jumps from the glass with a floral perfume in its aromas of salted grapefruit, rose water, strawberries, and green melon. Compact and medium-bodied, it offers a good deal of intensity and power through the palate, with a spritely mousse and a citrus-driven, mouthwatering finish. This highly versatile rosé is sure to be a crowd-pleaser. Drink 2024–2030. Disgorged in March 2023.

Description

Bruno Paillard Rosé Première Cuvée is mainly composed of Pinot Noir and exclusively comes from the first press. It is blended with Chardonnays from the North Côte des Blancs which brings fresh notes. This authentic brut is lightly dosed, and lied in cellar for 3 to 4 months once disgorged. The Rosé Première Cuvée of Champagne House Bruno Paillard seduces with its pink, golden copper-coloured robe which tends to become salmon pink over the years. Its long bottle ageing gives it a fine sparkling. The bouquet is bold and fruity with subtle notes of redcurrant, wild strawberry and violet. The palate is fresh with a quaffable vibrancy. The finish is pure, refined and gives an elegant and delicate Champagne.
