Fruity, spicy, with medium density and length, herbaceous, grainy tannins. Successful.

Medium-bodied, full of cedar and raspberry fruit, softly spoken and enjoyable, very much for early drinking—no need to wait too long. Classic, well balanced and enjoyable.

A tight, juicy red with chocolate and walnut aromas and flavors. Medium body, medium tannins and a savory finish. Shows some intensity and focus. Drink after 2021.

65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Merlot. 39 hl/ha. Garnet-ruby with violet highlights. On the nose, already an alluring wild raspberry bouquet, backed by violet and red cherry. On the palate, medium-bodied with wonderfully ripe tannins, fine-grained extract and excellent balance. The long finish shows good concentration and scores with morello cherry and damson. A top tip for classic Bordeaux drinkers. It will gain further complexity and deliver plenty of pleasure. 17.5/20

Great delicacy on the finely fruity, spicy and mineral nose; superb palate, very refined, with lovely flesh, fruit, silky tannins and liveliness. Harmonious, a great success in this vintage.

The bouquet of Picque Caillou is elegant and inviting. It reveals pleasant notes of licorice wood and red berries. On the palate, the wine is juicy and fruity. Its tannins are still a bit angular, but they are about to integrate while the structure provides solid support. A pleasant, balanced wine that can already be approached in its youth.

Very pleasant wine, fruity and flavorful, with a soft palate, good taste, and medium length. It’s good!

91–93. Barrel Sample. A fruity, smoky wine, this is rich in tannins and spice. It has fine black currant flavors that give a juicy character to the generous nature of the wine. Drink from 2023.
