The estate

An emblematic name in Faugères, Domaine Bardi d’Alquier boasts more than 150 years of history. Today, the Alquier family still runs the estate and strives to capture the finest expression of this great Languedoc terroir.

The vineyard

Les Premières 2018 is a Faugères wine produced from 12 hectares of vines planted on grey schist soils at the foot of rocky slopes with sparse vegetation.

Winemaking and ageing

Partial destemming, long maceration. Aged for 12 to 14 months in partially new barrels. Bottled at the estate without filtration.
