Domaine du Cellier aux Moines : Chassagne-Montrachet 1er cru "Les Chaumées" 2021

Brilliant and lifted on the nose, with Meyer lemon, peach, flinty minerality and a touch lactic. A touch pithy now, but textured and layered with Bosc pear and wild white flowers that linger through a long finish. Still needing time, let it rest a year or two or well through 2032+.

Powerful notes of burnt lemons, hazelnuts, spiced apples and gun flint, then it evolves to beautiful jasmine and green tea on the palate. Full-bodied while remaining delightfully light-footed. Creamy and nutty at the end. Drink or hold.
