The Estate

Rooted in the rich winegrowing heritage of the Loire, the "Les Vins d'Emmanuelle" selection embodies the passion and expertise handed down through a long family tradition at Domaine Alphonse Mellot in Sancerre. After 17 years working alongside her family, Emmanuelle Mellot embarked on a personal venture with the firm intention of creating a collection of wines that speak as much through their quality as through their story. "Les Vins d'Emmanuelle" is the fruit of this ambition: an invitation to discover carefully crafted wines that fully express the identity of their terroir.

The Vineyard

The estate's distinctiveness lies in a meticulous approach to plot selection, making it possible to explore the nuances of the iconic appellations of the Loire. From Sancerre to Pouilly-Fumé, by way of Menetou-Salon, Reuilly, Quincy, Vouvray… each wine reflects a specific terroir, chosen for its unique character and its ability to reveal the potential of the local grape varieties.

Winemaking and Ageing

The hand-harvested grapes are gently pressed. Fermentation and ageing on fine lees in stainless steel tanks, wooden vats and barrels.
