This wine's profoundly ripe black-plum and cassis flavors and svelte, spirited demeanor make it a fantastic expression of the appellation. Despite a maturation of 10 to 12 months in 100% oak, it's pristine in fruit, finishing on lingering notes of crushed white pepper and a salty, mineral crush. At peak from 2025 through 2040, the wine will hold longer.
