Appearance
The wine shows a deep red color, enlivened by bright purple highlights.
Nose
The nose opens with indulgent aromas of cherry and ripe red fruits, delicately enhanced by subtle notes of dark chocolate.

The estate
Established in 1808 in Tain-L’Hermitage, the Maison M. Chapoutier now embodies the elite of the greatest names in Rhône Valley wines.
A winemaker and négociant, Michel Chapoutier has, over the vintages, led this family business to the very top. The wines of Maison Chapoutier are recognized for their refinement and outstanding quality by the most discerning connoisseurs across the globe. A man of many talents, Michel Chapoutier holds the world record for the number of 100/100 scores awarded by American critic Robert Parker. Mathilde, Michel Chapoutier’s daughter, has taken over this iconic house, overseeing a vineyard of more than 350 hectares across the most prestigious appellations of the northern and southern Rhône Valley.
Over the vintages, Maison M. Chapoutier has developed its expertise in vineyards in Alsace, Roussillon, as well as in Australia.
The vineyard
Domaine de Tournon "Lady's Lane" is a Victoria wine made from vines grown on red soils dating back to the Cambrian era.
Winemaking and aging
The grapes are destemmed and then transferred to concrete tanks for fermentation. Maceration is long (4 to 6 weeks) with gentle extraction. Aged 100% in French oak barrels, with a low proportion of new barrels (10–15%), for 14 months.
