Founded in the autumn of 2024 by three former executives from the luxury sector (Anthony Davoigniot, Adrien Douady and Loys Vallon de Testa), Laferté has established itself as a contemporary blending house based in Paris. Now led by its three founders, with Adrien Douady serving as Master Blender, the estate is shaking up traditional conventions. This French whisky stands out for its demanding and authentic production philosophy: the entire distillation, ageing and blending process is carried out on national soil. By combining the heritage of French spirits with a modern and unrestrained vision, Laferté aims to establish France as a true benchmark in global production, while guaranteeing uncompromising quality.

The Tourbé expression: A bold and masterful blend
This peated French whisky is a blended malt crafted exclusively from 100% malted barley. The peated expression illustrates the House's technical expertise in the complex art of blending and maturation.

The production process is distinguished by a particularly refined sequential ageing protocol. The spirit rests in a meticulous selection of casks: new oak barrels, ex-Bourbon, ex-Cognac and ex-Rum. This multi-cask strategy, inspired by the traditions of French cooperage, makes it possible to sculpt an aromatic profile in which the influence of peat highlights, without ever overwhelming, the fruity and woody notes contributed by the various containers.

Presented in an elegant bottle with an art deco design, this whisky deliberately departs from the traditional age statement.
