The vineyard
Arnaud Mortet is a true patchwork of parcels, the fruit of a rich and passionate family history. Started in 1956 by Charles Mortet with one hectare, it gradually expanded under the leadership of Denis, then Laurence and Arnaud, now covering nearly 16 hectares. Spread across the prestigious communes of Gevrey-Chambertin, Chambolle-Musigny, Vougeot, and even Daix on the Dijon plateau, this vineyard offers a mosaic of unique terroirs. Among these lands are iconic Burgundy parcels in Premier Cru, such as Lavaux Saint-Jacques, as well as prestigious Grands Crus like Chambertin, Bonnes-Mares, and Mazis-Chambertin. This exceptional diversity enables Arnaud Mortet to produce wines of rare complexity and elegance, a faithful reflection of Burgundy's richness.
