The estate
Established in 2004 in Chassagne-Montrachet following the split of the family estate Michel Colin-Deleger, Domaine Bruno Colin spans around 8 hectares across five villages in the Côte de Beaune. Bruno Colin produces between 19 and 22 appellations, including two prestigious Grands Crus and ten Premiers Crus. Quickly recognized as one of Burgundy’s finest winemakers, he practices sustainable viticulture, aiming for the purity and authenticity of each terroir.
The vineyard
This Bourgogne Aligoté comes from a 23-are plot located in the village of Chassagne-Montrachet. Planted in 1988, the vines thrive on clay-limestone soils typical of the region. The estate practices sustainable viticulture with mechanical soil work and plowing. The harvest is carried out by hand, with careful sorting directly in the vineyard.
Winemaking and aging
After hand harvesting and sorting in the vineyard, this Bourgogne Aligoté 2023 is vinified and then aged for 10 months in stainless steel tanks, preserving the freshness and aromatic purity of the grape variety.
