A Grand Cru Classé of the prestigious Saint-Émilion appellation, Château Corbin Michotte has always been recognised for its unique and assertive wines. The vineyard of the property covers 7 hectares of vines planted on sandy loam soils upon clay-sandy subsoils rich in iron slag, with gravel on the surface. In this area, where Merlot dominates (representing 65% of the vines supplemented by 30% Cabernet Franc and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon), this diversity of soils gives rise to a unique expression of the grape varieties in the blend.
Expressing the typical characteristics of its vintage and its exceptional terroir, the Château Corbin Michotte 2017 displays a classic profile of great aromatic quality and taste. The purity of the fruit, gentle extraction of tannins and discreet hints of oak enhancing the texture nicely, the Château Corbin Michotte 2017 is definitely a must-have wine of the Saint-Émilion Grand Cru appellation.
