Vertdevin
(25% Sauvignon Blanc, 25% Viognier, 12% Chardonnay, 38% Gros Manseng) The nose is elegant, precise, finely knit, offering relative power and a touch of intensity. It reveals notes of quenette, green apple and, more subtly, citrus, combined with hints of white flowers, lychee, a touch of quenette, a discreet hint of eucalyptus and a subtle note of crushed nectarine. The palate is fruity and elegant, with indulgence and finesse, a tangy backbone, bite, energy and juiciness. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy vineyard peach, lemon and, more lightly, crisp green apple, combined with hints of small juicy/tangy white plums, lychee, quenette, starfruit, fine touches of sweet grapefruit, a delicate hint of physalis, apple blossom, mesocarps, a discreet hint of lemon blossom and a subtle saline touch. A lovely slight tannic edge, both in structural perception and in the aromatics. A pleasing little tanginess on the finish/persistence.
