Alfred Gratien : Brut Nature

No dosage for this cuvée, which is made with the three main grape varieties from Champagne. Red berries, herbs, and citrus aromas, with jasmine touches. Pure and clean, energetic and tense, the palate is fresh and elegant.

Raspberries, nectarines, lemon pie, caramel and some toasted vanilla on the nose. Creamy and buttery feel on the palate with velvety, soft bubbles. Dry, yet with generous caramel and ripe-fruit notes. Disgorged in May 2022. Drink now.

Pale golden with a copper hue and young, vivid mousse. Vinous nose with a slight oak/nutty presence, hazelnut, white flower, some pastry notes and pale stone fruit. The palate shows medium weight; flavour-wise it feels more Pinot-driven, with a nice austere backbone of acidity and no sugar, offering crisp fruit, crushed apricot, some nutty notes, an integrated creaminess and a long, pure finish.

Very pure, airy and floral, with an elegant palate for this perfect aperitif, which stays fresh and particularly easy to drink, with a well-defined lemony finish.

An open profile with notes of baked apple and autumnal foliage; the nose shows a delicate lactic touch from the wood, and the whole is coherent. The palate is straightforward with a structured backbone.
