Lively and balanced, with a zesty feel to the fine mousse and lemony acidity animating flavors of ripe black currant and raspberry fruit, almond biscotti, spiced orange peel and ground coffee. Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier. Disgorged July 2024. Drink now through 2035. 2,000 cases made, 150 cases imported.

A medium yellow hue, the 2016 Champagne Millesime Brut is a very elegant and attractive, if not understated, wine. It initially opens with notes of white flowers and linen, fresh brioche, lemon candies, and pear. Medium-bodied, it’s refreshing and light on its feet, with an elegant, pillowy mousse and a clean lift on the finish, featuring a springy hint of mint. Disgorged in July 2024. Drink 2025-2037.
