The estate
Founded in 1949 by Albert Bergère, Maison André Bergère carries on a family winemaking tradition that began in 1848. Located in the Vallée du Petit Morin, the Côte des Blancs and the Sézannais, this Champagne estate is now run by Adrien Bergère, an oenologist, and Annaëlle Bergère. The Maison stands out for its single-plot vinification, established in 2014, and its exceptional cuvées, combining traditional Champagne expertise with innovative approaches since setting up on the Avenue de Champagne in Épernay.
The vineyard
This Oenothèque 2009 cuvée comes from vineyards in the terroirs of Fèrebrianges, Etoges and Congy in the Champagne Vallée du Petit Morin. The vines thrive on clay-limestone soils.
Winemaking and aging
Vinification and aging in stainless steel tanks. Additional aging is carried out in magnums on lees with late disgorgement.
Blend
60% Chardonnay and 40% Pinot Noir.
