Marks and reviews

Wine Spectator

Bruce Sanderson

Soft and off-dry, displaying peach and honey flavors backed by an underlying grapefruit accent. Drink now.

/100

Decanter

Warm baked bread on the nose, round and creamy fruit dessert on the palate. Slightly sweet and floral.

/20

Bettane+Desseauve

Delicious, fruity, generous, intense, with plenty of nerve and voluptuousness!

Wine Enthusiast

Roger Voss

Designed as a party Champagne with its soft, lightly sweet character, Nocturne is well balanced. Just enough acidity contrasts with the ripe fruit and delicate texture. The wine is ready to drink.

Robert Parker Wine Advocate

Antonio Galloni

The NV Sec Nocturne offers good depth and richness in a soft, accessible style with good overall complexity and a round, generous personality. Admittedly, I am not a fan of Sec Champagnes, but this is a fine effort in its category. Disgorged: mid-June 2008. Anticipated maturity: 2009–2012. Importer: Kobrand Corp., Purchase, NY; tel.
