The Estate

Founded in 1986 by Francis and Christophe Delorme, Domaine de la Mordorée is located in Tavel, at the heart of the southern Rhône Valley. Today, the estate is run by Madeleine and Ambre Delorme, who passionately carry on the family legacy. This benchmark estate stands out for its deep environmental commitment, with a vineyard entirely certified organic, High Environmental Value (HVE 3), and biodynamic (Demeter). Renowned for the precision of its wines, the estate combines respect for biodiversity, hand-harvesting, and the creation of unique single-parcel micro-cuvées.

The Vineyard

Classified as Vin de France, this fleeting micro-cuvée comes from a rigorous selection of plots within the estate. The specific terroir of "Les Sables" is characterised by shallow, sandy soils that promote excellent drainage, pushing the vines—whose average age reaches 50 years—to root deeply. This natural setting, swept by the mistral, is cultivated with the strictest respect for biodiversity according to biodynamic principles. This preserved ecosystem allows the grape variety to fully express itself.

Winemaking and Ageing

For the Tableau de Terroir "Les Sables" Clairette 2025 cuvée, the grapes are entirely hand-harvested, followed by rigorous sorting. This wine is crafted in an artisanal manner, true to the estate's biodynamic philosophy, in order to preserve the purity of the fruit and the authentic expression of its sandy terroir.
