Domaine du Château de Meursault : Meursault 1er cru "Les Charmes Dessus" 2023

The wine has a bright straw color. The first nose is fresh, with notes of toast and pine grove. There’s lovely freshness, almost mentholated, with minerality and touches of aromatic herbs. Fine hints of pineapple and lime can be perceived. The second nose opens with a bit more breadth, showing stone-fruit notes. The palate is fresh and fruity, with notes of fresh apple, ripe yellow lemon as well as pineapple and apricot. There is attractive oak, with buttery and vanilla touches. A hint of fine bitters appears on the finish, with a mouthwatering touch of salinity and notes of pine sap, freshly cut grass, biscuit, and yellow peach. The wine has breadth, a certain richness, and firmness thanks to its acidity. The very end of the tasting lingers on jasmine. A pure beauty.
