Drouhin Vaudon : Chablis 1er cru "Mont de Milieu" 2023

Drouhin's 2023 Chablis 1er Cru Mont de Milieu offers up aromas of orchard fruit and oyster shell, followed by a medium-bodied, ample and succulent palate that's floral and saline.

Bottled on 16 July 2024. Almost no nose. Strait-laced, modest, so self-effacing it feels as if it’s held within itself. Very slight lime-pith bitterness. Overall, though, a gentle wine, gentle finish. (TC)

The 2023 Chablis Mont de Milieu 1er Cru has a citrus-fresh nose with touches of lime and a little chai. The palate is balanced with a slightly oily texture, fine acidity, moderate complexity and a touch of bell pepper on the finish. Fine.
