A pretty red, this features wild strawberry and cherry fruit along with accents of spice and licorice, showing terrific harmony and length. Seductive now, but the gentle tannins suggest this could benefit from at least another few years of age. Best from 2018 through 2030. 2,133 cases made, 253 cases imported.

2013 Corton Grand Cru, Pinot Noir, Burgundy.

The 2013 Corton Grand Cru Clos des Cortons Faiveley Domaine monopole from Domaine Faiveley is composed of Pinot Noir and is the only Grand Cru to bear the name of its proprietor.

This 2013 reveals an almost black-tinted quite intense red colour. The nose is both strong and concentrated on fruit and wood aromas. On the palate, the attack is strong and tannic. The 2013 Corton Grand Cru Clos des Cortons Faiveley offers firm tannins blended in the full-bodied texture. This vintage wine offers great volume with supple tannins and a wonderful aromatic persistence. This 2013 can be tasted between 2023 and 2028.
