The estate

The estate's story begins in 1880, when Édouard Amouroux received a parcel of vines in Courthézon, marking the birth of what would become L'Oratoire des Papes. Located in the Rhône Valley, the estate is famous for its Art Deco label, unchanged since the 1920s. The estate experienced a true renewal following its acquisition in 2000 by Maison Ogier. Today, the estate stands out for its deep commitment to agroecology.

The vineyard

The vineyard is based on the great emblematic terroirs of the Châteauneuf-du-Pape appellation. Farmed according to the principles of organic farming and agroecology, the estate promotes biodiversity and soil vitality to express the very quintessence of this exceptional terroir.

Winemaking and ageing

Hand harvesting allows for a rigorous sorting of the berries. The winemaking is carried out with precision to preserve the freshness and brilliance of the fruit. Ageing takes place in barrels and tanks, bringing complexity and roundness to this white wine.
