Very fresh aromas of oranges, violets and fresh black cherries. Some slate. Full-bodied with firm and fine tannins that run the length of the port. Bright and tight. Attractive now and will age beautifully.

2011 Vintage Port

Quinta da Romaneira's 2011 Vintage Port is 80% Touriga Nacional, 15% Touriga Francesa, and 5% Tinto Cão. This 2011 Porto reveals a shiny, violet-tinted black hue, with a red and black-infused nose, a lovely consistency and great elegance. The palate is complex with well-integrated tannins and a persistent finish. Vintage Ports are produced only during exceptional years, and are the pride of the greatest houses and their savoir-faire. Deemed one of the best Vintage Ports of the last 20 years, the 2011 releases are remarkably promising and unique.
