2011 Pauillac 5e Cru Classe from Bordeaux
Chateau Grand-Puy-Lacoste estate totals 90 hectares, including 58 hectares of vines planted harmoniously and continuously around the castle. The 2011 Chateau Grand-Puy-Lacoste is 78% Cabernet Sauvignon and 22% Merlot.
The elegant and refined Pauillac from Bordeaux offers a more structured style from commanding Cabernets Sauvignons: a mark of rich terroir with outstanding potential. The 5e Cru Classe reveals deep, intense red hue. The bouquet exudes very distinctive black fruits and cassis, with light hints of spices. The palate offers a precise attack, with elegant and balanced structure. The whole beautifully combines finesse, freshness, and persistence. The 2011 Chateau Grand-Puy-Lacoste boasts superb delicate fruits paired with perfectly ripe and smooth tannins.
