Wine Spectator

Bruce Sanderson

Well-marked by smoky new oak, this red takes on darker tones of black cherry, blackberry, iron and tobacco. Shows viscosity and intensity, with finely wrought tannins engaging on the smoke- and spice-infused aftertaste. Classy. Best from 2028 through 2043. 290 cases made, 60 cases imported.
