The 2013 Reserve Bin A Chardonnay opens with loads of apricot, mango and lemon curd notes infused with touches of sulfides plus some cashew and toast accents. Showing great intensity and elegance on the medium-bodied frame, it is enlivened by racy acidity through the long, mineral-laced finish.

Penfolds Reserve Bin A is a single-region Chardonnay from Adelaide Hills in Australia. Hand-picked grapes are whole bunch pressed and aged for 9 months in French oak barrels of varying ages. Distinctive aromas of white nectarine, hazelnut, almond, and nougat, along with lightly smoked notes emanate from the green-tinted straw Reserve Bin A 2013. The palate is complex, with a beautiful mineral acidity and citrus fruit peel flavours. With excellent length, the finish leaves a lasting vanilla impression...
