Mint, menthol, cherry and raspberry flavors are the main themes in this ripe, succulent red. Crisp and sleek, falling into the elegant camp, with firm, well-integrated tannins providing structure. Shows a fine sense of harmony. Best from 2027 through 2042. 95 cases made, 10 cases imported.

Aromas of potpourri, smoke, woodland, pomegranates, stone fruit and intense mint with a hint of pine resin. Full-bodied with ripe, velvety tannins, a dusty texture, weight and freshness. More mint in the finish. Drink or hold.

This 2019 Bruno Rocca Barbaresco Currà has a charming nose of ripe raspberry and sweet strawberry syrup. On the palate it is very elegant and understated with rich, multi-layered flavors of strawberry, rose and spice. The tannins are beautifully integrated into the wine giving it an elegance. It flows seamlessly across the palate and the tannins feel embraced and almost invisible. A refined and graceful wine. Wait 2-3 years - this will drink for 20 years plus.
