The 2020 Barbaresco Riserva Rabajà is seriously impressive. Dark and potent in the glass, the 2020 offers up an exotic mix of blue/blackish fruit, cloves, new leather, lavender, menthol and incense. Readers will find a Barbaresco with a ton of site character. The 2020 is wonderfully vivid and full of class. All it needs is time.

Overt and quite oxidative at first sniff, showing red cherries, blood oranges and smashed violets, followed by fresh mint and licorice. The attack is dense and velvety with ripe, elegant tannins, red fruit and lifted acidity. Juicy and polished in the finish. Drink or hold.
