Description
The 2012 Cuvée Chambolle-Musigny Les Chatelots from the House of Louis Latour is 100% Pinot Noir, the lucky beneficiary of a limestone soil known for producing flavorful and harmonious wines. The term The Chatelots comes from the Latin "Castellum" which means water tower. These lands were known for retaining water for long periods of time and were thus named accordingly. The 2012 vintage of the Cuvée Chambolle-Musigny Les Chatelots from Louis Latour seduces with an intense garnet robe. The powerful aromatic bouquet is dominated by notes of cherry and liquorice. On the palate, the tannins are well integrated and present without being dominant. A pakate full of freshness with good persistence.
