Carmes de Rieussec 2018

Open-knit, with friendly white peach and nectarine notes encased in acacia honey. Has a plump and relatively quick finish. Sémillon, Muscadelle and Sauvignon Blanc. Drink now through 2026.

The very pure nose, evoking candied apricot, of Carmes de Rieussec heralds a liqueur that is both fresh and ripe. A very suave Sauternes, which brings a slightly sticky sensation. The finish regains vibrancy, with lovely notes of candied lemon.

Pale, bright color. Intense nose, fruity, subtle and creamy. Melt-in-the-mouth palate with graceful texture. The persistence is a touch thicker, with a hint of bitterness. Normal length.
