Although the exact production volume remains confidential, this estate is recognized as one of the largest champagne producers. The cuvées of Moët & Chandon, celebrating the subtleties of the region’s three main grape varieties (pinot noir, pinot meunier, and chardonnay), come from an exceptional vineyard, 50% of which is classified as Grand Cru and 25% as Premier Cru. These vines flourish in a sublime, rolling landscape on terroirs composed of limestone and chalk formed during the Cretaceous era. This exceptional geological composition imparts a unique signature to the champagnes, characterized by remarkable minerality and aromatic intensity.

Created in 1869, this emblematic cuvée owes its name to the admiration Jean-Rémy Moët held for Napoleon Bonaparte, a loyal supporter of the House and the initiator of the iconic sabrage ritual.
Crafted from the three Champagne grape varieties (pinot noir, pinot meunier, and chardonnay), Brut Impérial captivates with its perfect balance between generosity and freshness. Its secret lies partly in the incorporation of 20 to 30% reserve wines, ensuring remarkable consistency and complexity year after year.

Magnums – Superior Aging Potential
Magnums provide ideal conditions for wine aging by limiting oxidation, thanks to a lower proportion of air compared to a standard 75 cl bottle. Their thermal inertia reduces the impact of temperature fluctuations, slowing down the wine’s evolution. This format helps preserve the wine’s freshness, primary aromas, acidity, and tannic structure for a longer period.
