Château Citran 2015

Some florality over vigorous black fruits. Always a little tough at the start but will show better with age.

Attractive red fruits and spiced-pastry aromas with cinnamon and some darker plum notes. The palate has a very supple and even-handed feel, where the tannins are ultra-polished and the red cherry-plum flavors hold impressively fresh into the finish. Best from 2022.

Medium-bodied, with more earth, cedar and tobacco leaf than fruit, the wine is correct, classic, and a tad short on the finish.

Notes of strawberries, raspberries, toasted spice and hints of scorched earth all emerge from the 2015 Château Citran, and it's another 2015 Haut-Médoc that offers tons of charm. Medium-bodied, supple and polished, with fine tannin, drink it over the coming decade.

Light, sweet bouquet, red berries, metal, balsa wood. Slim, light palate with light, sweet fruit, finely sandy tannins, medium aromatics, firm-edged structure, dry finish. 16/20 2021 - 2032

Garnet red with light violet highlights. A fruity bouquet marked by notes of red berries. On the palate, the wine is pleasant, balanced, and endowed with slightly grainy tannins that reveal themselves across the palate. The wine is pleasantly light, delicious, and can be enjoyed in its youth.
