Lune d'Argent from Clos des Lunes is a great, dry white wine from Bordeaux. It is produced on a vineyard of 70 hectares. The soil is diverse with gravel in Sauternes, clay and limestone in Bommes, and alluvial deposits from the Garonne in Barsac. Lune d'Argent 2016 from Clos de Lunes is a blend of 70% Semillon and 30% Sauvignon Blanc. The wine is aged in barrels and vats.

2016 Lune d'Argent from Clos des Lunes has an enamouring yellow colour, with green reflections. The nose is aromatically complex revealing fragrances of exotic white fruits, citrus aromas and subtle floral notes (acacia, lime trees). The nose is the perfect antecedent to what is tasted. There are touches of fresh lemons and exotic fruits (mangoes, lychees). The salinity of Lune d'Argent 2016 is noticed thanks to the finish. This wine is a clever companionship between the concentration of white fruits flavours and refreshing minerality, a straight-forward wine.
