The Estate
Winemakers from generation to generation for centuries, Domaine Vincent Pinard is one of the Loire’s most esteemed names among the great wines of Sancerre. Located in Bué, the family estate oversees a terroir of 17 hectares of vines spread over clay-limestone soils. The entire vineyard is managed according to the principles of organic farming.
The Vineyard
Florès is a Sancerre wine produced from a vineyard located on the lieu-dit Caillottes within the village of Bué. The vines, aged on average 35 years and planted between 240 and 275 meters altitude, lie on a caillottes terroir, stony and calcareous.
Vinification and Aging
Hand-harvested, the grapes are sorted before a long pneumatic pressing. This Sancerre white wine is aged for 7 to 9 months in wooden vats.
