The wine’s minerality and crisp, crunchy fruit are elevated by a taffeta-like finish, enhanced by its limestone shingle soils, which are very noticeable on the finish. A striking freshness in a cuvée that brings an extra degree of precision compared with Terre de Jonquières, which already had plenty.

Cambariolles 2020, from the eponymous vineyard, is, as usual, a reserved and vertical wine in its youth. It is smoky, wild, very straight, with a pared-down, uncompromising structure. It has great pedigree and brilliantly expresses the tension of the limestone gravels.
