An Elegant and Enveloping Nebbiolo from Piedmont
The Estate
Founded in 1982 by Mauro Molino in La Morra in Piedmont, this family estate covers 18 hectares, 50% of which are planted with nebbiolo. After studying oenology in Alba, Mauro developed the estate with his children Matteo and Martina, who have been the current owners since 2003 and 2008. Situated on prestigious crus, the estate stands out for its sustainable viticulture and its elegant wines, focused on aromaticity and consistent quality.
The Vineyard
This Piedmont wine comes from vineyards located in Guarene, in the Roero, on calcareous and sandy soils. The vines, aged 10 to 15 years, benefit from optimal southeast and southwest exposures.
Winemaking and Aging
Hand-harvesting in small baskets takes place between late September and early October. The Langhe Nebbiolo 2024 undergoes a short maceration on the skins, followed by alcoholic and malolactic fermentations in stainless steel tanks. The aging of this Langhe wine is carried out mainly in tanks, with a brief partial period in French oak barrels.
Grape Variety
100% nebbiolo.
