The property

The vineyard
In the Minho region, the vines selected by Niepoort benefit from a temperate continental climate, protected from oceanic influences by a mountainous barrier. The predominantly schistous soils ensure good water regulation and promote balanced maturity of the grapes.

The wine
Produced from vines located in the Lima valley, "Docil" is a vinho verde wine vinified to reveal all the finesse of the loureiro grape variety. The granitic soils give the wine a lively minerality and a great tension.
