Primum Familiae Vini (PFV) is an association founded in 1991 by Robert Drouhin and Miguel Torres, bringing together twelve prestigious European wine families. It promotes excellence, respect for the terroir, and the transmission of family traditions. Among its members are emblematic names such as Antinori, Rothschild, and Vega Sicilia. PFV supports philanthropic initiatives, notably through its exclusive cases containing exceptional wines. The association also awards an annual prize recognizing exemplary family-owned businesses. In 2023, Véronique Drouhin assumed its presidency, highlighting her commitment to family heritage and the challenges of the wine industry’s future.

The Primum Familiae Vini (PFV) Case is an exclusive collection of twelve exceptional bottles, selected by the PFV member families. Produced in limited quantities—only 12 cases per year—these cases reflect the excellence and winemaking expertise passed down through generations. Crafted from millennia-old swamp oak, their unique anthracite finish makes them true works of art, created by artisan Thierry Drevelle in Cognac. Each bottle bears the signature of a family member, ensuring its authenticity. These cases embody the heritage, passion, and elegance of the great European wine families, destined for collectors and lovers of rare wines.
