Tasting

Nose
Intensely complex with dominant notes of peat and delicate smoke wrapping around pronounced citrusy and herbal aromas. With aeration, the profile further develops with assertive spices such as black pepper and clove, mustard seeds, and cereal notes that underline the medicinal, malty character. Secondary herbal aromas include mint and dandelion.

Palate
Broad and silky, the flavor profile reveals a remarkable balance between peat, oily, malty and chocolatey notes, with a fruity dimension evoking pear and mirabelle plum. Floral flavors of jasmine and broom as well as honeyed notes complete this complex palette. The finish is long and fresh with a gradual evolution of herbal aromas of green barley, oregano, and sage bringing great vitality. The peat becomes progressively more delicate and ethereal.
