This expression takes advantage of the distillery's cutting-edge equipment, notably its two custom stills made by Forsyth's in Scotland, which began operating in February 2008. The Chichibu distillery, originally the smallest and most confidential in Japan, became the first Japanese single malt distillery since Hakushu.
