Komos stands out in the world of spirits by reinventing the añejo tequila tasting experience. Founded with the ambition to blend the refinement of Mexican traditions with a touch of modernity, Komos crafts high-quality tequilas from blue agaves grown on Mexican volcanic soil. The brand is distinguished by its innovative practices, from extraction to aging, such as maturation in oak barrels and finishing in wine casks, creating unique and refined spirits.
Extra Añejo, a premium tequila
Crafted from blue agaves hand-harvested at full maturity (7 years) in the terroirs of Jalisco, Mexico, this tequila was the first to receive a score of 100/100 from renowned Tasting Panel judges. This spirit undergoes double distillation in copper stills before aging for at least 3 years in white wine barrels (French oak) as well as in whisky barrels (American oak). It is then aerated for 6 to 24 hours before being bottled in a handcrafted ceramic decanter, which can be reused.
