The Estate
During his first trip to South America in 1988, specifically to Mendoza, American winemaker Paul Hobbs began his project to found a winery in these remarkable high-altitude lands. Vina Cobos was founded in 1998 in Luján de Cuyo, an exceptional terroir at the foothills of the Andes.
Always in search of excellence, this winemaker innovates in both his vineyard management and winemaking techniques. Rigorously selected from prestigious high-altitude vineyards, the estate's wines are distinguished by their minerality, balance, and elegance.
