This mouthwatering Champagne has an ethereal quality, with a frame of chiseled acidity and focused precision to the pointillism-like, vibrant mousse. Yet this shows depth and generous expression, with finely spun notes of patisserie, apple and blackberry fruit opening beautifully on the palate and through the minerally finish, with notes of grated ginger, blood orange granita, salted Marcona almond and anise. Very pale greenish yellow with silver reflections and a very fine, persistent mousse. A mineral bouquet with nuances of yellow peach, white apple, orange blossom and kumquat. There's some cold smoke, hazelnut and brioche in the background too - a very attractive bouquet. Taut and tightly meshed on the palate, with white fruit and greengage emerging too. It's very delicate, rich in finesse, but at the same time powerful, salty and long-lasting. Undoubtedly still very youthful, it is very much "hands off", with certain ageing potential. A discreet, delicate, lactic nose with aromas of lilac, cowslip and bluebell, with a sappy, taut edge, as fresh as mountain air; on the palate, much more intense notes, a spiral of yellow fruits, then ginger, vegetal and spicy accents, and a highly perfumed trail of fir and aromatic herbs that makes you want to keep the conversation going.
