Domaine Bott Geyl : Riesling Grand cru "Schlossberg" 2022

The 2022 Riesling Schlossberg Grand Cru is from the lieu-dit called Im Tal, facing south on granite. Scents of dried fern and lemon escape from the tight, shy nose. The palate is absolutely stony, seemingly naked, just like lemon juice on stone. There is nothing extraneous; this is stone. The texture has started its transition to balm and travels with a kind of svelte intensity that is utterly alluring and comes with such a long, long echo. (Bone-dry)
