Vinum

Toasty notes, herbal spice, red berry fruit on the nose; lively and fruity on the palate, light-bodied, low intensity, good harmony of elements. Perfect for lunch.

Decanter

Dark fruits, tobacco and clove, black cherry and blackcurrant with a dusting of black pepper spice. Smooth and sapid, this has energy and focus, crisp and slightly sweet with chalky tannins. Well structured, deep and quite serious for a second wine. Tannin density, broad mouthfeel and overall lift. Some bitterness and touches of chalk and caramel on the finish. 20% new oak, 80% one-, two- and three-year-old barrels for 14 months. pH 3.48.

Yves Beck

Notes of red and black berries, followed by a touch of mint and cocoa beans, bring charm and freshness. With silky, fine-grained tannins, the wine is well-balanced and nicely supported by its structure. The latter adds freshness and character, and strengthens the finish.

Slate, cumin and sweet cedar oak notes, even the lightest touch of tar, this has been carefully constructed, and delivers sweet cherry and raspberry fruits. Unfussy, skilfully made, lacks a little appellation typicity compared to the 1st wine.

Jean-Marc Quarin

Jean-Marc Quarin

A lovely deep red with purplish highlights. A wonderfully aromatic nose, full of ripe fruit. The palate is beautifully juicy, flavorful, with a supple body and plenty of aromas lingering on the finish. A very well-structured and delicious wine. Blend: 47% Merlot, 41% Cabernet Sauvignon, 12% Petit Verdot. Alcohol: 13° - pH: 3.48. Yield: 25 hl/ha.
