The wine displays a luminous straw-yellow hue, enhanced by delicate green highlights.
Nose
The bouquet opens with floral and fruity notes of white flowers, citrus and juicy pear. A subtle hint of almond and a fine mineral thread complete this delicate ensemble.
Palate
Juicy and focused, the palate is beautifully balanced by lively acidity and a delicately creamy texture. It flows smoothly into a persistent finish marked by a pleasant salinity and great freshness.
Food and wine pairings
Ideal as an aperitif, this white wine pairs wonderfully with seafood antipasti, asparagus risotto or a poultry salad. It is also a perfect match for specialities such as vitello tonnato or delicate fish such as grilled trout.
Serving and cellaring
This Arveja Arneis 2025 can be enjoyed now and will continue to reveal its qualities until around 2030.
The freshness and precision of a white wine from the Langhe
The estate
The story of the Antinori - Prunotto estate truly began in 1923, when Alfredo Prunotto took over a former cooperative in Alba, in Piedmont. Now an essential benchmark, the estate made its name through its innovative approach, notably by bottling its finest crus separately as early as the 1960s. Today, the estate belongs to the prestigious Antinori family, who acquired it in 1994. Under the leadership of Albiera Antinori, the 65-hectare vineyard continues to combine regional tradition with modernity, producing wines renowned for their elegance and their faithful expression of terroir.
The vineyard
The grapes for this cuvée come from carefully selected high-altitude plots on the gentle hills around Alba, in the heart of the Langhe appellation. This terroir benefits from refreshing morning breezes, offering ideal conditions for preserving the vibrancy and aromatic clarity of the berries. The estate favours conventional yet rigorous viticulture, with harvests carried out in cool conditions and with strict selection to ensure optimal fruit quality.
Winemaking and ageing
The Arveja Arneis 2025 is crafted to preserve the purity of the fruit. Vinification takes place exclusively in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, with no contact with oak. This tailored ageing enhances the freshness and precision of the aromas. This Italian wine is then carefully filtered before being bottled under a natural cork.
Grape variety
100% Arneis.
