The vineyard
The Langoa Barton vineyard spans 20 hectares in production within the Saint-Julien appellation. The vines, averaging 35 years old, rest on a characteristic terroir composed of deep gravel resting on a clay subsoil, giving the wine its structure and complexity.
Vinification and aging
Careful aging in French oak barrels, 60% of which are new wood.
Blend
This Langoa Barton 2024 is the result of a blend of 52% Cabernet Sauvignon providing structure and aging potential, 40% Merlot contributing to the roundness and fruitiness, and 8% Cabernet Franc.
