Domaine du Cellier aux Moines : Chassagne-Montrachet 1er cru "Les Chaumées" 2017

Aromas of buttered apples, pears, orange oil and peach mingle with hints of white flowers and blanched almonds, introducing the 2017 Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Les Chaumées, a medium to full-bodied, supple and charming white that's delicately textural, built around ripe acids and a moderately concentrated core of fruit.

Les Chaumés comes from the northern sector, close to Puligny, and it carries an innate freshness. We applaud its purity, that Côte d’Or class sprinkled with chalky notes, as well as pastry accents brought by the élevage. It has more energy than the Puligny and a mouthwatering finish. A wine with a longer future.
