Domaine du Cellier aux Moines : Puligny-Montrachet 1er cru "Les Pucelles" 2021

The wine presents refreshing aromas of bright citrus skin, green pear, chamomile, cut wet grass and stone. On the palate, it is focused with a lighter presentation of citrus and sensations of white wildflowers, stone and oak spice. A straightforward expression that is enjoyable now.

I like the complex toasty undercurrents here, showing pears, cloves, pie crust and some chamomile. Vibrant lemon curd and pineapple, too. Full-bodied, with delicious just-ripe fruit supported by a backbone of bright acidity. Excellent structure, also quite some tannins. Drink or hold.
