The estate
Although the family has been rooted in winegrowing since 1640, Domaine Hubert Lamy was officially founded in 1973. Starting from eight hectares originally, this Burgundian estate now covers more than eighteen hectares spread across several renowned appellations. Since taking over the property alongside his wife Karine, Olivier Lamy has profoundly shaped its character. A pioneer of very high-density plantings and a fervent advocate of nature-respecting viticulture, he has established the estate as one of the region's flagship addresses.
The vineyard
This cuvée comes from the Les Tremblots parcel, a confidential terroir nestled in the south of the Puligny-Montrachet appellation. Planted in 1946 and 1970, these old vines thrive on a gentle slope at 230 metres of altitude. The subsoil, blending limestone marl and white pebbles, is the source of the wine's mineral signature. The vineyard management relies on sustainable practices, excluding any chemical inputs, with a preference for massal selection and rigorous canopy work.
Grape variety
This 2024 Puligny-Montrachet Village "Les Tremblots Vieilles Vignes" from Domaine Hubert Lamy is 100% Chardonnay.
